Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Rolling chop Air Temperature: 11 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Lightly powered in the morning and difficult to stay upwind, but my bigger
board would not have been much fun in the sizeable chop. After lunch the
wind filled in and enjoyed an excellent session fully powered on 5.8m and
90 litres. The Alpha felt very good, in fact I hardly noticed it after a
while, just concentrated on picking a line through the chop.
Air temperature OK, but the water felt very cold even with wetsuit slippers
- definitely time for winter boots at Blithfield.
